Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Oct 18, 2009 10:46 am Hi We're currently renovating a house while expecting our first child - so the rush is on. We're currently stuck on the kitchen bench top and it's pretty much stalled the reno's in the main area of the house. I think that we've agreed on laminex and have some prefered colours for the cupboards and drawers - Mushroom linea with a couple of silver haze panels just to break it up. We'd like a darker bench top as the house is mostly off white (Dulux whisper white and beige royale trims). The floors are timber. Any one with pics of a mushroom linea with a non-white benchtop, could you please, please post them? Cheers Re: Help - benchtop colour 2Oct 18, 2009 2:19 pm Hi Disco, maybe you could add the Mushroom Linea Laminex with off white benchtops to your post title? That might help people to reply quicker if they have used it. www.themaxbuild.blogspot.com forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20717&start=300 www.leahspaperpassion.blogspot.com Re: Help - benchtop colour 3Oct 18, 2009 2:26 pm Thanks TheMax, but it's the other way around, we're looking for anything but off white, we need a stronger colour to stop the house looking washed out with white walls, furniture and benchtop. I seems that a lot of people here are very helpful with suggestions, so I'd like not to limit the thread to those with mushroom linea cabinets Hi Courtney The mitred edges are glued up with epoxy so those little holes and gaps are areas that weren't filled correctly. Silicone is the wrong product to fill them… 2 12921 Thankyou so much ๐ I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK ๐ 2 7158 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3267 |
