Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 08, 2010 9:42 pm G'day, after some advice, we are using steel grey granite bench tops and gloss white 2pac cupboards and drawers. The question is about the glass splashback colour. Silver was an option on the list as was a slightly darker shade of grey than the granite, but the image in my head is telling me dull. How would a darkish red go or ferrari red? If anyone has an idea or photos please share.Cheers. Re: Glass splashback colour 2Feb 09, 2010 9:20 pm im going for silver strata and warm white colours and have been thinking about either a pearl or dark blue splashback. I feel the ferrari red would remind me too much of my office's kitchen - but there is one pic going around on hear of a deep rich merlot red that looks outstanding Re: Glass splashback colour 3Feb 09, 2010 9:31 pm We've gone with a dark 'storm' grey quantum quartz benchtop. http://www.flickr.com/photos/belial669/4297610526/ We found a number of reds we liked for the splashback in the Wattyl range, however the builder insisted we were limited to the standard dulux range. So we compromised and chose henna red. http://www.flickr.com/photos/belial669/4296865391/ I'd love to have pics of it finished, but as we're still waiting on our land to be settled alas i can't and you can see them together in our build thread.
