In my experience most powerpoints are permanently in use (or not), rather than constantly plugging things in and taking them out. Also, having them recessed down into the counter raises the issue of moisture entering (from spills or general cleaning) if not properly sealed when down. They are good to use in a kitchen island situation. As for moisture etc, the Evoline can be adequately sealed. Now, if you were to inadvertently spill your red wine over the unit then you should be severely punished! What I meant to say was if you spill your red wine over the unit it wouldn't be a problem apart from the cabinet below getting a bit wet. I've designed a walk in pantry in one corner and in the corner cupboard that is closest the adjoining dining area (it's one big room) I have turned the cupboard around to face the dining area. It should prove useful for storing stuff usually not ever required in a kitchen such as table cloths, candlesticks, condements, etc. Re: Now heres some nice kitchens for inspiration. 29Jul 29, 2007 9:22 am Ruth I have turned the cupboard around to face the dining area. It should prove useful for storing stuff usually not ever required in a kitchen such as table cloths, candlesticks, condements, etc. This can be done with great sucess.
