I have ordered two end panels (flat pack-they extend to the floor), which I intend to brace to the floor with L brackets (can't attatch to the wall - asbestos ). My question is about the benchtop. As this piece is not quite large enough it would need to be supported by and surrounded with timber. Do you think this will look like a ******* add on? The other thought I had was to get hold of a timber chopping block slab and use that. Where would I get this? I am pretty poor so cost is an issue. Any ideas?
