Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Sep 24, 2009 9:21 am Hi All, Am currently getting my unit layed with floorboards and have had tiles lifted in my kitchen. The floor layer has removed all tiles in preperation, but in doing so has nicked and dented the base of 6 of my 13 kitchen cupboard doors. It is quite noticeable and I'm quite annoyed. In hindsight I would have demanded that all doors were removed but asssumed that this was common sense. With that said, does anyone know if cupboard doors can be repaired? I think they are white polyurethane with rounded edges. Alternatively what is a ballpark figure to replace doors? are we looking around $50 per door or more like $250 (aware that this depends on alot of variables - but just a rough gauge). I have the floorer finishing off his work today so will follow up the matter this afternoon - am guessing i may have to get him to lodge an insurance claim if the costs become too high. Has anyone any advice on this area? If you didnt he should have to pay for his negligence in damaging your doors. Get a couple of quotes and give them to him. He should have removed the doors, as you have stated.
