Hi All,
we had our kitchen installed last week and i noticed that there is a gap Between Ceaserstone and window seal. I was just wondering what happens with that do the kitchen people come back to fill in the gap with something?
Cheers,
Sam

Cheers, Sam Re: Gap Between Ceaserstone and window seal 2Sep 17, 2009 12:27 pm The kitchen people probably won't do it. It will be done by a caulker (who would also caulk the tiles). I have personally always tried to keep the gap at no more than a couple of millimeters, and always sealed around the window frame with a very small bead of mould free silicone. For light coloured tops I use white and for the darker tops such as blacks and browns I use clear Silicone. Some chaulkings are not waterproof and usually your sink sits in front of a window, so it pays to use something waterproof. The kitchen company who installed your kitchens should be requested to come back and do this for you.
