Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Sep 10, 2009 12:34 pm Hi All, I am trying to decide on kitchen colours at the moment and am just having a hard time!!! We are pretty sure we are going to use Formica Smoke Cedar flooring. Here is the link to the website, once you get there click on floors and its the one called Smoke Cedar - i dont know how to upload pics. http://www.formica.com.au/colourcollection.aspx So really, i just need some colour advice. Because the floor is dark, im picturing in my head an all white kitchen with grey coloured splash back or something?? What do you think?? Thanks! Re: Kitchen Colour Suggestions 2Sep 11, 2009 1:00 pm Hi Rach I think your idea sounds great - the flooring looks to have a grey grain so an all white kitchen sounds good are you having glass or tiles for your splashback? 2014 - Prepping to build the Soho 4 with Plantation homes, industrial style 2009 - Built the Brampton with Coral Homes viewtopic.php?f=31&t=15399&start=280 Re: Kitchen Colour Suggestions 5Sep 11, 2009 8:31 pm Hi there, we love that floor and are considering new kitchen colours to match it as well. We love a french provincial look, so are thinking either warm white or soft grey cabinetry (Formica recommends Mist Grey to match the floor and Laminex has a similar colour called Sarsen Grey.) I need to compare the colours to the Nova Aurora caesarstone benchtops (love the sparkles!) - we will probably go with either a grey glass or mirrored splash back. Are you installing the floor yourself? Re: Kitchen Colour Suggestions 7Oct 25, 2009 1:14 pm SuH I have heard mirrored splashbacks are a nightmare I would love a mirrored splashback.
