I went rangehood looking 2 months ago and the sales person was horrified that I hadn't made up my mind let along ordered everything for the kitchen as the frame was nearly complete.
2 months later ... I'm still at least a month away from needing the kitchen appliances ... so I can't quite see her problem!!
But ... I am curious about how other people went about making decisions, ordering and delivering of their appliances. How far out do you really need to have them?
I still haven't made up my mind on a couple of items (the rangehood being my worst sticking point, closely followed by the sink!) ... but I have chosen other items. I've been ringing around for the best prices ... and just starting to wonder when I need to order and get things delivered.
When I ask about delivery most stores seem to talk about days ... so as long as they have what I want ... could I just wait? or do I risk prices rising? lack of availability?
Any advice appreciated!!
I have bought the oven ... 3 years ago ... delievered 2 years ago ... luckily has a long warranty
