We're building a house with Allworth Homes in Maitland (NSW) and we're having a bit of a dilemma choosing kitchen colours... I'd like a black & white kitchen, but I'm finding it hard to visualise the benchtop laminates from the tiny sample they give you... Here's what we're looking at: Splashback: White tiles with black & white checked frosted-glass mosaic border Cabinets: All white Benchtops: here's the tricky bit... I'd like them black with a pattern, so far I'm considering... Has anyone seen / used any of these options? How did they turn out?? Photos?? I like the first 2 or the last one of your possible choices the best for a kitchen colour. Not too keen on the black marble or the starlight for a kitchen. I was leaning towards jet terrazzo too, but couldn't find ANYWHERE that i could see a larger sample to see what the overall pattern would look like, and then at the last minute i saw Vulcan Stone (see below) in a friend's kitchen and loved it! If our kitchen wasn't so dark I would have picked something in this shade. Great choice. Thankyou for your advice.
