Hi everyone,
I'm new to this board, hello! I have just started renovating an old californian bungalow - double brick, c1924.
We don't have much money to spend on a new kitchen etc so we are going to re-paint the existing kitchen ourselves. Currently it is a blackwood timber kitchen and we want to sand it, then paint it white - domething like Dulux cottontail white in high gloss. What's the best way of doing this?
I think we have the following options, what do you think of each one?
- sand, prep and paint ourselves using paint spray gun
- take the doors to a panel beater etc and get them to paint/dip the doors for us - might be pricey though…?
- any other suggestions…?
Thank you everyone. We'll have to brush paint some of it (the bits we can't dismantle!).
Peacey.
