Re: kitchen bulkheads 4Aug 05, 2009 6:14 pm We are going to put our own bulkheads in, made of MDF and add the cornice at the top to match the rest of the house and the cost of materials will be around $150 and we have 2400 ceilings. My husband tells me its a fairly easy job to cut the MDF and we will paint that the same wall colour and put the cornice on top. I guess the main cost is the labour.
