Hi
Proposing a new kitchen and thinking about a few things like an inset/inlay cutting board. Benchtop likely to be hard surface like Caesarstone or Corian, thus, will the benchtop provider just cut a hole for the cutting board or is a section reamed out to sit a cutting board into?
Second any views on the aesthetics of a cutting board set into such a benchtop perhaps spoiling the visual of a smooth hard surface finish?
And third if cutting boards are inlaid is there a preferred material for them ie timber or some other substance like those hard plastic/nylon type surfaces?
First time here so many thanks for any input
