Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 29, 2015 10:34 pm Hi all! Just wondering if you could tell me if this is normal (I hope not) and if it can be fixed (I hope so lol) These white marks are along the joins on some spots of our island bench. Because it's a dark bench they're very noticeable. http://i1327.photobucket.com/albums/u661/mrst12/259C69FA-960A-4FCF-9372-7A18C25AC0C9_zpsb2dfjxk7.jpg (Excuse my dirty bench, I was cooking when I took the pic lol) And is this something the builders will/can fix at our 12mth inspection? Thanks! Re: Caesarstone edge marks 2Apr 30, 2015 8:20 am I looks like you have mitred 40mm stone?? It looks from that photo that the mitre has opened up or wasn't done well in the first place. They will try and fix it by putting some filler in there. Just make sure its the right colour and done well. It should be a relatively simple fix for your builder, just ensure the correct colour is used and the repair is carried out correctly. Caesarstone carry a range of colour-matched adhesives so if you aren't happy with their colour match you can request that they use our branded products for a perfect match.
