Especially the size of it - I will be downsizing from a pigeon pair??!!!! I am concerned at just how narrow each side is? Re: Review - Samsung Fridge SRS702GDHSS 83Sep 24, 2009 8:19 pm I have found it great! I can store heaps in it! Lots of room for drinks - we usually have 3 milks, 2 juices and a cordial in there all in big bottles at any one time and they can all fit in the door part so basically all the shelves are left for food. The freezer is a great size too I'd highly recommend it My karma ran over your dogma Re: Review - Samsung Fridge SRS702GDHSS 84Sep 24, 2009 8:40 pm Thank you for that - you never know until you have one. Plus it's nice to know that you haven't had any trouble with it, since I've read so many bad reviews about Samsung fridges. I'm convinced you either get a lemon, or you don't, and it's the luck of the draw!! (Cos' i wonder how much they will bargain if it comes with a TV???) We got it for $2500. Told them that the TV wasnt costing them anything as it came direct from Samsung, and we knew people who had bought the fridge for $2400 from HN Auburn. I didnt tell the sales guy that these people we knew were on HOMEONE!!! We also bought an upright oven (came with a free rangehood) and dishwasher at the same time. That might have helped him drop the price so quick.. oh and we played him off against a few other HN stores. Now I just need to put the storage shed on a diet to fit it all in. Nunawading. I was going past and got prices for a few things. Then when I got home decided to go to Highpoint Good Guys to get what I wanted. Their prices were not as low. But when I said I'd been to Nunawading they matched the price. I can't remember the exact price on the fridge because I decided against it in the end and got a front loader instead. But it was around $2450. I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Review - Samsung Fridge SRS702GDHSS 93Oct 05, 2009 8:55 pm ok we bought our fridge today. SEE: http://www.samsung.com/au/experience/promotion/ cya yeah we got that one too its a hell good deal with the free tv. its the best and worth it. we love that the freezer is so huge, the HSS is around the same price and its 100ltre smaller. you'd be pokin a cookie monster if the didnt take it. the best thing to do is find the ower of the store your in and buy direct from him, Sales people are too scared to give you a good deal. works for us anyway. Re: Review - Samsung Fridge SRS702GDHSS 95Oct 06, 2009 11:53 am Don't you find the big chest drawer annoying? I've looked at those, and although the fridge part is great, the drawer type freezer is a huge turn off!! Plus the interior of the the HSS is so well planned. I liked the look of the Sharp and Electrolux 4 door ones, but the fridge part is badly designed and actually takes less! So if I could have the great design of fridge from the HSS and the freezer of the 4 door ones - that would be great but for now I think I will still go for the HSS, and although the TV is nice, it won't make me rush out and purchase - it's only 22cm, and quite frankly, I have no idea where I would even put it - I'd rather get the fridge for less, and they can keep the TV Re: Review - Samsung Fridge SRS702GDHSS 96Oct 08, 2009 2:55 am i scored a westinghouse WSE7000SA for $1900 from clive peters of all places, got hn down to $1999.
Andrew Re: Review - Samsung Fridge SRS702GDHSS 97Oct 08, 2009 7:28 am I myself bought a Samsung srs758dp 2 years ago and what a lemon constantly iced up fan and sounded like a areoplane. After 7 months and a court date with VCAT was replaced with a new 2 year warranty, free delivery and a offer of a rental fridge until new one arrived. Was replaced with a SRS 768 was happy with the outcome but they constantly told me it would only be replaced with a 600 ltr unit which many people accepted as they deemed this a suitable replacement? Re: Review - Samsung Fridge SRS702GDHSS 98Oct 08, 2009 4:43 pm Hah! A 600 litre one is tiny!!!! you couldn't even fit a pizza box in it! The Westinghouse 700 litre is about 1 cm too wide to fit in my opening - I would have been happy with that one Re: Review - Samsung Fridge SRS702GDHSS 99Oct 08, 2009 6:07 pm andrew1977au i scored a westinghouse WSE7000SA for $1900 from clive peters of all places, got hn down to $19099.
