Hi there...I am new to these forums, but am about to start on the exciting and a little scary venture of demolishing and rebuilding our new home.
A little kitchen question....we are having our kitchen installed by our builder (Av Jennings) but we have chosen to do our flooring ourselves (cheaper and better choice). I am concerned about the flooring joins to an already laid kitchen and was wondering if anyone has any advice?? We are going to be using timber or bamboo in the tongue and groove click system and I don't want to end up with a tacky beading along the kitchen. I am considering asking the tradies whether they would let us lay the small amount that will be under the kitchen and then let them install over it. We would obviously cover it well with cardboard to protect it. Also, if down the track we or another owner changes the kitchen at all, there will be no flooring under it.
Love to know your thoughts.
Many thanks,
Ame
