Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 25, 2009 5:02 pm Hi All, I recently got the designs of the house and I'm not very happy with the kitchen. I was wondering if someone can suggest a software which will help me redesign the kitchen. Cheers Sajana Re: Kitchen Nightmare 2Jun 25, 2009 7:23 pm The IKEA home planner software is very easy to use to play around with layout - the only restriction being that you can only put their cabinets in. But it is free. There's a Google one, I haven't used it myself but have seen someone here who has done up some plans and they look terrific. Not sure how fiddly it is to use. My kitchen size is 4.0 m (length) x 2.9 m (breath). its an Open plan kitchen, the layout is attached. http://i567.photobucket.com/albums/ss12 ... 1206-1.jpg I was wondering if you can suggest a better configuration within the kitchen. Thanks, Sajana Re: Kitchen Nightmare 6Jun 26, 2009 9:42 pm I started playing around with designs, but there's a few questions that would make it easier to try out some other layouts that will suit your needs/wants (caveat - I'm *not* a kitchen designer, I just like playing around with designs and ides) What is it that you don't like about the current layout? What size fridge to you want? Do you want a larger or smaller pantry? Do you want a wall oven? Do you want overhead, on bench or under bench microwav? Do you have any other appliance (such as coffee machine) that you want to integrate? No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 6626 2 4669 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7381 |
