Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 24, 2009 11:22 pm Any recommendations on how to remove sticky tape from my new stainless steel oven?? The retailer had taped down the burners and now I have sticky tape residue left on it. Im too scared to try any of my cleaning products incase they damage the stainless steel. The oven has not been connected yet. Removes anything sticky and attracts koalas too (not guaranteed) Also gets texta off timber floors , in case you ever need that trick up your sleeve. Magic Erasers are good too, they are like a special sponge you can get in the supermarket. It is FANTASTIC and I use it for everything! I'm a teacher, and it's the only thing I can find that gets almost every stain and residue off everything in my classroom! And it's the best thing for velcro residue, which is very thick and sticky. Permanent marker on desks and laminated materials - GREAT! The mum who introduced me to it - she is now my personal hero!
