Hi,
We just had our stone benchtop cut by a local shop. We were a bit disappointed when looking at the job today because prior to talking to them, we visited the display kitchen at Bunnings. The joins of the bench tops at Bunnings are almost invisible. You’d have to look very closely to see it. It’s like they used a razor to slit a thin grove across the top of the benchtop.
The job done at our house is nowhere close to the bench tops at Bunnings. The joins are about 1 mm thick and glue (?) got smeared on the sides of the joins.
Is this 1 mm grove normal? Did I expect too much after seeing the job at BUnnings?
Thank you.
