Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 10, 2009 9:57 pm Hi all, Our kitchen benchtop and cabinetry will be as per photo below. My question is, what colour tile splashback should I use? I am thinking something like beidge or ivory? Would really appreciate your comment. Any pics will great too! (PS: we couldnt afford to have glass splashback, as the upgrade costs too much!!) I am thinking of this colour tile splashback. Would really appreciate your comment on this. Does it look good? or it does not fit in with the other colours? Thank you. Pics attached 5Jun 10, 2009 11:12 pm love the colour of the 2nd picture. Perfect. I also like the bluey green one too though... love all blues, I don't discriminate. Certainly the 2nd one would appeal to more people I would think. buzz Re: What colour tile splashback should I use? I love those colours! Saying that I havnt got any contrast between my cupboards and splashback it all blends in but I got a darker benchtop and only one colour cupboard. check out taffys house Know where your going in life............... you may already be there Re: What colour tile splashback should I use? Hi Building with Coral 2009, Our wall colour will be Wattyl Flokatti. The feature wall in the living will be Wattyl White Pepper. What do you think of this colour combination? Flokati should go with everything but it is slightly greyish so make sure that the tile doesn't look too creamy against it. And White Pepper is a warm grey/taupe with a hint of green. I'd be leaning towards a taupe more than a light beigey/brown with Flokati I reckon. Check out Haywgl's thread.... she used a glass splashback but her flow colour is Flokati and her splashback is a light warm taupe colour. Even though it's glass, it may give you an idea colour wise.
