Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jun 09, 2009 9:43 pm Hi, I saw a pic in a mag that had a light benchtop under the champagne splashback to blend in with the cabinets and feature the splashback, and a darker coloured stone on the island bench to show off the bench. All the cabinetry was white. I am building with CH. Will they let us do that? Is there an extra cost? It looked really nice. Also - I threw out my Caesarstone brochure because I didn't want to get tempted. But we have decided to probably get it but now have no brochure. Are all the 38 colours on their website standard? Cheers Re: Two diff. colour caesarstone benches (building with CH) 2Jun 09, 2009 9:52 pm Do you mean Carlisle Homes? I'm not sure whether you can have two different stone colours in the kitchen, but I dont see why you cant? You will probably have to pay extra to have the two different colours. With regards to the c/s colours, i think there is only about 4 colours which are standard and the rest are upgrades. Anyhow, re the CS with CH - on the website and in the brochure you will find caesarstone mark some with a * and are marked as deluxe or some similar word. With CH, these will be cat 2. All others will be cat 1. That was as per late last year when we did our contract. We got CS in a promotion and upgraded to cat 2 as wanted the Snow. The upgrade cost was about $450. In terms of different benchtops between island and other, I imagine they would do but may charge more. I know they charge more if you incorporate two laminate colours for the cabinetry. Good luck with all the planning. Happy to help and share our slightly outdated costs if if helps. Which house are you planning to build? I am sure everyone would love to see the plans and what changes you are considering if any. They deleted 3 colours and added (I think ) 9 new ones. They also expanded their price range from Standard and Deluxe, to Standard, Deluxe and Premium. 2 2984 Hi, We're building a double-storey in Perth and I'm undecided with the kitchen sink situation.
