Would be interested if you could scan it and post it on this forum. Yes, we eat a lot of pasta too, so will need a tallish shelf to house some bigger cannisters. Because of my space ie 1.3m wide x 2m long I will need to be clever to get the most out of the area. I too will have shelving that is 300mm deep but will also have some that is deeper across the back wall and may even have some less that 300mm up towards the front along the wall where the door swings inward. I am thinking these shelves could easily take cans one row deep for easy identification. I am also thinking I might have a shelf up high above the door as I walk in. I envy all you guys with your dishwashers/freezers/fridges in your pantries. Found a picture of something that I know I definitely don't want, ha ha. Also found a picture of the narrower shelf idea which could house canned food. This diy handyman has added a narrow shelf in between his larger shelves. So ... my first shelf is 300mm, then the rest of the shelves were at 200mm ... but maybe that top one (that is more for storage) should be wider? Would it create a dust catch? block the light? be odd to have a wider shelf at the top? Davjoa - my pantry space is nearly exactly the same as yours ... will be interested to see what you decide on!
