The shelving will run along the longest wall and then return along the far end - like a very elongated "L" shape. My builder is doing 4 shelves for me - the bottom two are 450mm in depth and the top two are 300mm in depth. This way large appliances - like the microwave etc will all sit on the top 450mm shelf.
