Whats your recommended rangehood & model for one who does alot of wok cooking?
I notice some fellow forumers have installed Qasar rangehoods. May i ask which model do you own?

I needed a 1200 wide one and I wasnt prepared to pay $3000 for one off the shelf. Mine ended up costing $400. They also did beautiful stainless steel splashbacks for $200 each (I needed 2 for corner stove). I would say use a smaller company that can do the sketch for you if your not that way inclined. Just get the measurements right. The extractor units that i have seen go for about $300 and are very powerful, they consist of a suction motor in the middle of the duct pipe (that will sit in your ceiling space) and one end of the pipe connects to range hood and the other end goes to the outside (cut a hole in the eaves of the roof an but a mesh in to stop wildlife crawling through.) Good thing about these is that the noise is low as the pump is in your loft. My land is 260m2 (10m x 26m) located in claymore NSW. Under campbelltown council.
