(it will also pick up on the grey flecks in the tiles you mentioned) Then the splashback could be almost any colour really as most things go with grey-black-white. I'd choose something like red to warm it up. Re: Cupboard door colour advice pls 3May 16, 2009 6:09 pm Yeah..we were thinking maybe a charcoal grey...i'm so bad with colour. Our old house had a light grey/dark grey/white kitchen so for this one I would like another colour scheme. First of all I bought a couple of Kitchen magazines but most photos show white bench tops as that seems to be the most popular colour at the moment. My first concern is to find a matching colour for the body of the Breakfast Bar as that stands out in the Games Room also. I am looking at Stipple Seal/ Stipple Hemp for body and maybe for overhead cupboards, cupboard doors and drawers too. This combined with White on white walls and doors. The next step would be to decide on the colour of the splashback. Difficult isn't it? Re: Cupboard door colour advice pls 5May 17, 2009 7:52 am Yes..it's very hard... We went to the home display centre and looked through all of their magazines in search of ideas on only found a few black benches...white, ferrari red and timber seemed to be the only combination. I've got black benches atm and love them..could never have white again. I have an off white cupboard which is fine in my current house but wanted something with a bit more wow factore in the new place. Starting to lean towards a gun metal grey / ironstone colour i think. It goes brilliantly with the Bahia Granite benchtop.
