I would also appreciate your photos of similar colour kitchens. Thanks everyone. Mine is Bahia Granite....installing this week, hopefully Wednesday! I agree, finally someone who is having black. I was thinking my choice was out of date!! I loved it as soon as I saw it. The pic doesn't really do it justice, it's black, not the brown it's showing on screen! Night Sky now has a white chip in the mix and is not a "pure" black. Most people are happy with these tiny chips of white, but there have been on the odd occasion customers who have been mortified when there top arrives and it does not match the sample they saw in the book (sometimes due to being such a small sample it misses having one or two white chips). Regardless Night Sky tends to be a populr choice. Hope this helps With 25 years kitchen experience and a passion for what I do, I have joined this forum to offer advice or at least my opinion on all things relevant to kitchens. Can't post any pics yet as the kitchen's about 2-3 weeks away from being installed. We have sheer mesh as the laminated cupboards which was a bit of a risk as we haven't seen any with that before. It's kind of white with a subtle pattern in it. The bench will have 40mm of ceasterstone and it's a wrap around - can't wait! I think the black top will be seen as a feature!!! I was elated to see that other's are going with the same colour choices as we are. We are looking at Night Sky (thanks for the heads up on the white fleck in it too!) or jet black. We had originally chosen to go with Formica Rock Salt for the cupboards, but are probably going with either Laminex Stipple Hemp or Polytec Linen Micro as it is more cream and will go with the feature limestone walls that we have.
