Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 24, 2009 2:50 pm We're trying to choose a kitchen sink for the new house. We want an undermount 1 and 1/2 or 1 and 1/4, with colander bowl on the right. We love Blanco's BTIPO6 layout, shape and price, Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ but it's not supposed to be an undermount sink. The only other sink that both DW and I like as much as that Blanco is Swiss: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ But it's twice the price . Any kitchen guru out there, who could tell me if that Blanco sink can be undermounted ?? Obviously, a sign of good taste !. Are you having it inset ? We're planning a couple of movable stainless steel draining boards, to be used as needed. I just hope that Serge's right and we can undermount that sink. I'm very clumsy. But we'll get the movable drainage board and the stainless steel strainer and maybe the chopping board. Who knew sinks were so exciting?? I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Terrence Malick Re: Can this sink be undermounted ?? 6Apr 24, 2009 10:18 pm We're growing clumsy with age too. But we hate the gunk that gathers around the normal sink, so we'll risk chipping. Engineered stone (Ceasar, Essa, etc) is supposed to pretty tough.
