Hi all,
After days of visiting HN, The Good Guys, other retail stores and trawling through different websites (The Electrical Discounter, Price Pirate, Appliances Online, etc.) I was wondering about the different extended warranties offered for kitchen appliances.
I mean, if you get the additional warranty (up to the usual 5 year max) from different sources what does this mean for the actual warranty.
I've heard the usual horror stories about some useless 3rd party warranty suppliers and I know that many warranties are covered by 3rd party providers, so what does this mean for the quality of the warranty?
We wouldn't want to be lumbered with a warranty that isn't worth the paper it's written on because we tried to save a few $$$ and get the appliance from one shop or e-tailer as opposed to another one.
Any advice would be great.
Thanks,
PN
