Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Apr 07, 2009 7:58 pm Freshly installed today. I'm so excited I had to share here and in my thread!! I can't remember the last time I was this excited...actually, maybe it was when I saw a bulldozer sitting on my block after watching the grass grow on it for 18months...but that's another story! Here's some pics for the kitchen pic piggies: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: I've got a k-k-kitchen!! 3Apr 07, 2009 8:05 pm Very nice, and how exciting for you! We had ours rentovaed a month ago and coming home after the first day was just like Christmas for me. I just had a look at your blog. Is your benchtop Diamond Gloss Pure Mineralstone? That is what we have, very happy with it so far. What kind of splashback are you having?:) Re: I've got a k-k-kitchen!! 6Apr 07, 2009 9:56 pm mrsrusty Congratulations its is exciting hey. That is what we have, very happy with it so far. What kind of splashback are you having?:) Thanks Mrs Rusty, I've been following your splash back thread with interest Yep, it's Pure Mineralstone. Glad to hear you're happy with it. Friends of ours also have diamond gloss and other than obvious finger prints, they love it. We're having a tiled splash back - the budget had been given a work out enough as it was, so I was happy to live without that for the sake of a few other inclusions and upgrades. The tile I have chosen is in this pic, but I'm really not at all sure how it will go. I'm hoping it is the same one Sha has used because her's looks great! Re: I've got a k-k-kitchen!! 9Apr 08, 2009 8:39 am hey jellylegs, your k-k-k-kitchen looks gorgeous, well done (feel like K-k-k-kevin from a fish called wanda ) And I think your splashback tiles will look great "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house. I'm trying to work on an assignment for uni and keep opening up my photos to have a look at it again Very sad, clearly I need to get a life. Glad you like the handles Thorney. When we were making our selections, the range looked quite out dated and I would have preferred a more modern square looking one. I chose these thinking they were the best of a bad lot and planned on buying some 'nicer' ones later. But, now that they're on, I really like them! They are quite different, I don't think I 've seen them anywhere else before and, unlike us, they're rather sophisticated So, the handles will stay....for now... hey, I am wondering how you find your Dulux White on White? Is it cold? Yellow? Grey (i.e. "dirty")? I am tossing up between that and a few other whites but it's a difficult process (as you probably realise). Just looking for some first hand experience Re: I've got a k-k-kitchen!! 12Apr 08, 2009 8:00 pm Hi Kelly, We haven't been painted yet, so I'm asking the same question myself!
