Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Mar 31, 2009 8:51 pm Hi Guys - Well, we had our meeting with the kitchen man on Saturday, and we have to start seriously thinking about colours. I really want to have light grey coloured tiles (not sure what type yet), and want something other than plain white cupboards, and am not a fan of darker benchtops. We were thinking maybe Polytec Mountain Pepper (http://www.polytec.com.au/images/sample ... pepper.jpg) for the cupboards, with Laminex Kashmir Granite (http://www.laminex.com.au/images/sample ... ranite.jpg) for the bench tops. What do you guys think? Also, do you always have a different colour for the kickboards?? Is it like the 'done thing'? If so, I was thinking perhaps a darker colour for them, like maybe merlot (http://www.polytec.com.au/images/samples/merlot.jpg), or maybe even going lighter like new antique white (http://www.polytec.com.au/images/sample ... _white.jpg). So many choices!!! Any opinions would be appreciated!!! Re: Colour Combo Help!! 3Apr 01, 2009 10:05 am I'll try and look tonight for you flicka.... I think it's good to have a diff colour kickboard, we are having white cupboards, but stainless steel kickrails. Great selection of colours, but I'm no expert. Mish is good, she'll give you heaps of good advice. I really like your selections…..I’d go the darker colour for your kicks, it hides the kick marks better! Nice choices, well done. Cool.... i only heard about the 'different kickbords thing' the other day at work...before that I have to admit I didn't actually know what a kickboard was Hey all, Hoping for some inspiration for my bathroom laundry combo. The tiles are in good condition, as is the bathtub. I’ve given it a coat of white paint and added… 0 14124 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7170 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3275 |
