Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Fridge in Walk in Pantry 21Apr 11, 2009 9:55 pm I must admit I fell in love with the butlers pantry in the Metricon Aspen (I think they now call it a Jasper?) and thus have built a 'butlers pantry' into our design. (Although the only butler that will ever be in it will be me!). I dont see me ever doing much prep in there, but i like the idea of having heaps of storage that i can spread out. I hate digging deep into the back of the 4th shelf in a normal pantry to find stuff. Also the benchtops are great for storing stuff when people are over for dinner.. In theory I can just come out and be like "here's something i prepared earlier...". Ok so thats a bit over the top (And makes me look crazy) but i think they are just neat! (Putting our laundry cupboard in the pantry too also saves us the space of a laundry room.) Plus if i ever win tattslotto i want somewhere for Niles to work and feel at home -------------------------------------------------------- Building in Highlands Craigieburn Status: Building the Laundryless 25.5: Slab Complete Re: Fridge in Walk in Pantry 22Apr 12, 2009 11:17 pm wow im sure i live under a stone ive never seen nor heard of a butlers pantry till now lol. geesh glad im going to the home show sunday definately need to catch up on latest trends and styles stay safe happy building Re: Fridge in Walk in Pantry 23Apr 12, 2009 11:46 pm We are planning on putting our deep freezer (tuckerbox) in our walk in pantry.. simply because we didnt (and didnt want to) make room for it in our kitchen. I am hoping there wont be any problems with it being in there -Sha Do you really want to accommodate the window? What is on the outside of the window?
