We want a drop in sink but would like the look of a very thin, sleek lip/edge like you get on the drop in round sinks - so question is can you drop in an undermount sink? Is there a problem with the seal because the lip would be too narrow? Our standard sink is a lakeland and they do make undermounts. This material allowed metal to be joined so the under mount sink was totally flush not just bolted under a hole in the bench top as some others were. We couldn't justify granite benchtops but if we had we have gone with the created stone for it's flexibility. Have had stone benches with undermount sink (kitchen) and drop-in (laundry) and top-mounted basin (bathrooms) for coming up 13 years and not one chip/scratch of any kind.… 2 9676 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption.
