Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Mar 11, 2009 4:07 pm Hi there,
Does anyone know any darkish brown laminates that would go with antique white? I,m looking for one to use for some feature drawers/doors. So far the ones I have found are Laminex-espresso and Formica-mocha but these look very dark. I'd prefer something a tad lighter. Polytech have a colour called merlot though this has purple tones. Any suggestions or pictures would be welcome. Thanks Sahana Re: any nice brown laminates 3Mar 11, 2009 7:02 pm Fini chocolate? Matt , your kitchen looks stunning. Those thick benchtops look wonderful! Sorry I know this is probably in another thread but what colour are you benchtops and overhead cupboards? I shall try and get some samples of the colours suggested. Re: any nice brown laminates 8Mar 11, 2009 8:48 pm We have the nocturne oak in laundry and bathroom. That expresso looks lovely though...stunning kitchen you have Matt Good luck with finding a colour you like Sahana Re: any nice brown laminates 14Mar 13, 2009 7:04 pm thanks all for your replies. I really appreciate it. I will get samples suggested. Do es anyone have any theories re mixing gloss and matt laminate. I'm thinking of going with one of the gloss laminates from Polytec for the bulk of the kitchen-probably antique or cafe cream. I thought of using the brown laminate as a highlight but have not seen any kitchens with 2 different finishes. Polytech don''t make any gloss brown laminates. Nice bathroom and laundry u have got there She&He+3+3 I think concept oak is a nice dark brown laminate. What does everyone else think? She&He+3+3, Can I ask for the vanity bench in the bathroom in the pic, how come it doesnt show the usual black line (substrate) at the edge? usually a light coloured laminate will show the black line right? Would really appreciate it if you could tell us the colour, form and texture (gloss or matt)? Thanks in advance Williams Landing Stage 10 - Kingwell Neighbourhood A question.
