Browse Forums Kitchen Corner Re: Has anyone used Wholesale Kitchens before? 2Mar 11, 2009 11:14 am Yep. Just had the kitchen installed last week. Our only delay was when they shut down over Christmas. Apart from that the whole thing ran like clockwork.
The kitchen looks great and the installer said their cabinets are good quality. Everything fitted as designed and everything that was ordered arrived. We're happy so far, but we haven't used it in anger yet. Still waiting for the cooker to be installed, but that's our problem not theirs. Re: Has anyone used Wholesale Kitchens before? 4Mar 12, 2009 9:07 am We used theirs, who is actually a cabinet maker here in Brisbane. The two guys that came were really good. The cabinets are solid and level, and making a thing or two to fill odd gaps and cover damaged floors was no problem.
The benchtops went on on Tuesday. Just waiting for the electrician and the plumber to come back before the cooking fest commences! Re: Has anyone used Wholesale Kitchens before? 5Mar 22, 2009 10:21 pm A couple of weeks before I got the keys to my apartment. I got on their website and ordered their information pack, shortly after they called me and asked when I wanted someone to measure and quote my kitchen.. I told them "Not for another couple of weeks, cause I dont have the keys yet.." The woman on the phone didnt understand the concept of what I said and persisted to tell me that they had a consultant who could come out anytime this week.. I told her "NO I DONT HAVE THE KEYS TO THE PLACE YET!!" She calls back the next day and the same thing happened again... So anywho.. I get the keys to the unit.. Send them an email and ask to book in for a measure and quote.. No one got back.. Rang them up, was told that someone would get back to arrange a quote.. .This was over a month ago now... They arent off to a good start with me.. Exempt development if the house is existing. If it’s a new build it’s likely not an issue either but always call council to confirm. They’re usually very helpful. 3 24384 Shop around do your homework id talk to architects as well some of ghem have there own building teams and dont build on a wafflle pod slab.
