Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 28, 2009 9:48 pm Hi All,
My partner and I are not at all creative and we are trying to research colours for our kitchen. I would like to have a white / cream base with brown /neturals - however my partner refuses to have any white or cream in the kitchen. I don't want greys. We have been looking at laminates but they all look differently online to when we get samples and I am concerned that we are going to make the wrong decision when our colour appointment comes around. If anyone has pics of a kitchen that is browns / neturals - or could suggests laminates that go well together in the browns I would really appreciate it. I am thinking a wood base and then a darker bentop with a lighter brown for the top cupboards??? Go to kitchen showrooms and try to find colours/designs which suit you. Try to get accurate names for the colours/brands as different brands call the same colour by different names and use the same name for different colours. Colours look completely different usually from online photos and even samples picture sin catalogues. Case in point had a Quantum Quartz picture of "Turino" which looked pale blue which fit our design BUT when you look at the sample in the store it is basically just Caesarstone nougat. So be careful of only doing research online. Re: Kitchen colours- ARGHHHHHHHHhh 3Mar 01, 2009 9:09 am I went with the thought of neutral earthy colours - here is my kitchen colours

The other sample card is probably what I'm going to use for the laminate bench tops in the bathrooms and laundry as it closely matches my caesar stone kitchen benchtop (below) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' Would go great with the caesarstone bench above and a mocca or red splashback. Kitchens are like finger prints, no two are ever the same!!
