Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 27, 2009 7:08 pm Hi All,
I was wondering if anyone here has had any experience, good or bad, with Polytec's high gloss "Createc" range of laminates in any particular colour? I chose a light colour in this material for the doors in my renovated kitchen, but the kitchen company has repeatedly gotten faulty boards (and some faulty edge tape). I had a look at the faulty board and there were big burn-type marks in the paper of the laminate, under the clear, high-gloss coating. The manufacturer says they accidentally used a pack of defective raw boards to make the defective Createc boards. The thing is my kitchen company received TWO consecutive batches of the product, all defective, so I don't know how good the product actually is, and whether or not I was just one unlucky customer who got two bad batches. I really need to make a decision soon about whether to stay with Createc or go with something else, so I was wondering if anyone out there could post soon about whether they are happy or unhappy with Createc? Or if you have any advice on whether Createc is a good or bad product? Much appreciated. Thanks. Interested in getting either the Polytec Boston Oak or Palace Peak for kitchen cabinets. Looking at the Boston Oak ones, it appears that the colour varies significantly… 0 9174 Hi, planning on using the attached stone pieces in my bathroom. I want to remove stains and gloss seal.
