However when someone new joins and all three of their posts are directing you to a website selling something it seems a little fishy!!

It is a very common name in France... DuPont is one of the largest chemical manufacturers in the world. They made a lot of money making Napalm and Agent Orange in the 60's. we had a meeting with our joiner to finalise our selections/finishes etc and I asked him to get me a quote for CS Concetto, which apparently we can get here, but noone seems to have... and, just for the kitchen bench, in white quartz Concetto...........$14,000 !!!! haha He atleast told me that I have good taste!! hahaha Oh...and no...we didn't keep that on our selection list we decided on CS Ice Cap instead (although, just found out it is being discontinued!!!!) In case anyone is curious...here's the link for the Concetto: www.concetto.net Re: Oh why don't we get nice C-stone colours like the US? 35Feb 19, 2009 6:14 pm I wonder.....would it withstand kitchen wear and tear. I saw a beautiful CS manufactured marble, I was determined to have it, beautiful big stones in it BUT I bought a sample home and played with it, wine glasses etc and it was basically ruined from that alone. Once the acid penetrates the seal, it can't be repaired. That looks so fragile, but amazingly gorgeous. Thanks for making me want it Re: Oh why don't we get nice C-stone colours like the US? 36Feb 19, 2009 6:23 pm SuH I wonder.....would it withstand kitchen wear and tear. Thanks for making me want it haha I actually went through and read all the specs and from what I understood, not only is it stunning...but its extremely hardwearing..heat, stain, scratch resistant... before i got the quote, i'd decided that i was willing to pay a high price, because i think it would *make* the kitchen...but the $14k price tag unfortunately was justtt too far to stretch! haha i probably would've paid $5,000 for it though! Re: Oh why don't we get nice C-stone colours like the US? 37Feb 19, 2009 6:29 pm Building ACT.. you are now on my "banned" list with Mek. I refuse to look at her links because they make me want things I cannot afford. It turns out your links are just as bad!! You are now also on "probation" until you provide links to crap I don't want.
Thank you! I leave you to fend for yourself, figure things out yourself. Are you absolutely sure there must be something wrong with it..for kitchens No the fireplace doesn’t work. It’s been enclosed. I’m not sure what was removed, as it was done quite some time ago - well before what I can see with photos online… 2 11589 That sucks! Hope it all works out. Good to move away from steel anyway for all your reasons, but it's also thermally poor. 16 17895 Hi All, I just wanted to close this topic out with an update.
