Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 18, 2009 2:42 pm Hi,
does anyone have any knowledge of the Euro brand appliances? The builder of our new home has them as part of a turn-key package but I am sceptical of the quality/AMS. Their website refers to Italian manufacturers - but which ones anyone? Any info appreciated. Re: 'Euro' kitchen appliances 2Feb 18, 2009 3:04 pm If it made by Italians it will probably break down after 2 months!
See Alfa Romeo lol Re: 'Euro' kitchen appliances 3Feb 18, 2009 3:12 pm I have seen a few Euro things on ebay for sale (new) so I would also be interested in hearing about the quality etc. I am a bit dubious. See Alfa Romeo lol Hang on a minute (BTW I'm not of Italian background) I can think of many top quality Italian brands, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Colnago racing bicycles, Campognolo bicycle components, many fashion brands etc. On appliances, Emilia is Italian and very high quality finish stainless steel etc. I have an Emilia oven, it's pretty good and they have local representation in Sydney. I called them up for information once, they were very professional. See Alfa Romeo lol That's it.. due to the fact now they have moved most of there factory's to china, cheaper labor, quicker producing the products... but doesn't last as long, as work isn't taken care of anymore, like they used to Re: 'Euro' kitchen appliances 8Feb 20, 2009 5:41 am I have an Emilia oven, No probs as yet.
I would recommend you call a local repair guy and see if he can get parts for it. They may not be readily available parts or costly to repair. Re: 'Euro' kitchen appliances 11Feb 21, 2009 2:45 pm I have a euro oven and rangehood in my kitchen, has lasted 4 months so far it is just the basic one supplied by the builder so wont be an expensive brand but we are not gourmet cooks, has done the job fine so far Re: 'Euro' kitchen appliances 12Feb 21, 2009 4:34 pm 72qwerty Hi Data Guys, are you saying that the 'Euro' is made by Emilia? No. I was responding to Thlo and the italian breaking down side of the thread. I should have quoted him first, sorry Licenced Sparky and Data Cabler If "The Data Guys" is too long to type, TDG will do. Re: 'Euro' kitchen appliances 13Feb 21, 2009 8:41 pm alot of the italian branded appliances are made by delonghi, indesit and smeg
they are not meant for those looking for bells and whistles but if you are used to a 30 year old appliance, anything will be a vast improvement. If you have a chance to get extended warranty, TAKE IT! Kitchens are like finger prints, no two are ever the same!!
