KFN 9755 iD AU $3,099 KFN 9755 iDE AU $3,499 (includes ice maker) They're the ones going into my kitchen Hopefully get them a bit cheaper than that though.... Re: Who sells integrated fridges? 23Dec 16, 2008 3:38 am Yes, we're getting one too - haven't shopped around yet but Miele distribute through Harvey Norman/Domayne, David Jones, Myer, Retravision & Winning Appliances & Clive Peters in the Sydney area and no online resellers that I can find.
They all seem to offer a 7.5% rebate on package deals so I presume that's a Miele rebate scheme. We're planning to get a complete Miele kitchen (oven, microwave, hob, hood, fridge/freezer) so we hope to get a better deal. I'll let you know what we find. We've been looking around a fair bit as well, since all our main kitchen appliances are also going to be Miele (fridge, cooktop, oven/microwave, dishwasher etc)...but with the exception of older stock, it seems like prices are pretty much fixed and regulated!! The 7.5% is through Miele (they have different rebates depending on the overall amount you spent)...and they often have promotions where you receive 'free' extras...such as cookware... In any case, we're happy to make the investment since we think its worth it - but if anyone happens to find better deals, let us know!! P.S. We compared the Liebherr and Miele integrated fridges side by side (although Liebherr make the Miele fridges anyway!!) and we preferred the layout etc of the Miele one...but they're both pretty good from what I saw!! Re: Who sells integrated fridges? 25Dec 20, 2008 10:15 am Just found this post today. Electrolux also have integrated fridge and freezer pigeon pair, they are actually australian made, for australian market. They're slightly wider and deeper than the european ones and cost just under $2000 each. Model no. ERM3701WA & EFM3001WA Re: Who sells integrated fridges? 26Dec 20, 2008 11:18 am miele sux in the price department as retailers do not set the prices, they are on a consignment bases instead. This guarantees there premium foothold on the market and also quality assurances.
after christmas is when they produce special rebates on d/washers and washing machines, also % rebates on x amount of thousands purchased for cooking. you cant really surpass miele and yes it is an investment! (it had better be is what goes through most peoples heads!) Just remember this: fridges have a life expectancy of 10-12 years if your lucky. The chances of the fridge sizes being the same when you go to purchase your next one? unpredictable. So ultimately the size of the cavity will need to be adjusted depending on which fridge(s) you purchase. If you have a solid timber kitchen, matching the colour will be impossible! i.e. uv yellowing, grain etc. polyurethane doors however you should be able to get a way with. same goes for melamine and vac form. Obviously wouldnt matter if money is no object! Also if your integrated fridge **** itself and leaks everywhere, make sure you can access or know how to access behind the fridge easily. Trust me, a little forward thinking now other than the 'style' factor will save you time and money in the long run. Kitchens are like finger prints, no two are ever the same!! SmartPack did the kitchens for Channel 9's Home Made TV Show Re: Who sells integrated fridges? 28Jan 02, 2009 3:06 pm Are you trying to do a do-it-yourself integrated fridge, spence? You do realise that unless you have a fridge that can be integrated, you will have two doors to open?
If you buy an integrated fridge (a proper one), then front panels get put on the front of the fridge, therefore no need to build anything yourself. Re: Who sells integrated fridges? 29Jan 03, 2009 11:46 am Yes I have an existing fridge that I am moving to a "bar" area. It is a standard old type fridge/freezer. Large fridge in lower door and small freezer upper door.
I have seen the slides used to attach the cupboard door to the fridge door. (similar to here http://www.sdslondon.co.uk/product/8059 ... ridge.html) I would only attach it to the main fridge door and leave the freezer door to open manually as it is mainly a beer fridge. The ventilation is my biggest worry. Re: Who sells integrated fridges? 30Jan 03, 2009 9:59 pm It's best to check with the fridge manufacturer if in fact your fridge can be integrated I think.
I have a Fisher & Paykel that we integrated and got the kit from them. We have an opening on top of the cupboard at the back and also a vent under the cupboard. But the cupboard itself is completely closed otherwise. Re: Who sells integrated fridges? 31Mar 16, 2009 10:14 am Would you have any photos of the install for the F&P integrated kit Mek? Do you still have the shelving relocation problem?
Im looking into the F&P, Electrolux & Westinghouse pigeon pairs. Electrolux integrated seems to be easier one but less space and more pricey... 2 2523 |
