Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 16, 2009 1:38 pm Hey Guys,
hopefully someone can help me with this I had a house built a couple of years ago, and i asked for a dishwasher provision to be built so we could put a dishwasher in one day when we were ready. We've now finally got aroudn to it, and i've take out the doors and shelves where the dishwasher provision is and i cannot for the life of me, get out the sides of the cupboard and the kickboard etc. Everyone tells me it should be easy, and it should just come out, but i've taken out all the screws that hold it in, and i'm thinking that it must be nailed in somewhere or glued together. Should it come out easily? The only way i can see it coming out is if i break one of the pieces of wood going along the top of the provision. It looks like it wont' fit the 60cm dishwash unless i get rid of the side panels and the kickboard etc. I also measured from the back of the cupboard and its only 57cm, whereas dishwasher dimensions are usually 60cm depth. Is this right? does it mean it sticks out the front a bit?? Any ideas? is this not really a propererly made provision?? Thanks in advance. If you where closer I could come and have a look It sounds like the ends and backs of your cupboard you are pulling out are still in place. See if there are any fixings holding them in place and remove them Best Price Wardrobes Sliding door robes | Walk in robes Deco panel | Mirror | Melamine 26 to 28 Cottage lane Hackham M: 0402 927 376 http://www.bestpricewardrobes.com.au Trade welcome Building Standards; Getting It Right!
