I've always wanted a blk kitchen. It's a pain to keep clean but I love it. Cupcakes - Would u believe that before building I never really drank.. Needless to say, building changed that and I now love a nice red, so the wine storage really comes in handy Love your kitchen leanne.. It's stunning Re: Show me your kitchen... 2745Aug 17, 2014 9:56 pm rellie Treeseachanger rellie So excited to be finally able to add a picture of our kitchen we moved in on Friday, still need to hang pendant lights over the bench. Thank you Kas.Mark+4 Re: Show me your kitchen... 2746Aug 17, 2014 11:21 pm All these beautiful kitchens - lots of inspiration for us who still have to decide on colours etc! Re: Show me your kitchen... 2747Aug 20, 2014 10:08 am Relllie u have beautiful taste, love those pendants. Where did u get them from? Ur kitchen looks like something from a magazine Re: Show me your kitchen... 2748Aug 21, 2014 11:09 pm LeanneR Through the glass door is scullery Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Theres door to left of glass door which is the WIP - Photos of my slight OCD haha - PANTRY Hi Leanne, I love what you've done with your kitchen. In particular, I'm interested in the layout. How do you find the DW in the scullery? I'm glad to have found you've done this because I want to but my husband is arguing it would be too hard traipsing in there with dishes I don't know, I'm worried he might be right now. Also, I don't want our tap on the island bench but he's arguing it should be. I see you haven't in your kitchen either. We have a galley style kitchen where the sink is on the island (facing living area) and the cooker on the back wall. I want the sink and cooker side by side on the wall but he's saying it's unconventional so might be hard to use. How are you finding your layout please? It looks lovely, I really like what you've done Re: Show me your kitchen... 2749Aug 21, 2014 11:49 pm No problems with dishwasher in scullery at all. For me my skip k is under window, if we had a dishwasher it would be over that side. So standing at my island walking to scullery sink and the kitchen sink is pretty much same distance. I really love having an empty island, how big is your space that's sharing cooktop & sinks. Re: Show me your kitchen... 2750Aug 22, 2014 12:05 am Thanks for the reply Leanne! It's 2.7 metres long and we're getting a 900cm wide cooker and undermount sink in essastone bench (if I convince hubby to allow me to put on back bench, I'll scale it down to a single bowl instead of double). Ourplan is in this thread http://bit.ly/1kTBoH9 (near the bottom) BTW I LOVE your house. I've been checking out your blog. I'm sitting in a pile of drool Re: Show me your kitchen... 2752Aug 23, 2014 11:17 pm I have been reading through and seeings all these fantastic photos of peoples kitchen and thought I would show you mine. Please excuse the blurry photos. I didn't go the white theme as you can see. I can already hear peoples comments now, oh what a bold colour, that's going to date quick. Truth is, I thought so to when i chose it, however i built the home to live in. Im not planning on selling anytime soon. not after all the troubles to get it built in the first place anyways
Anyway, photos. I responded with I will date with it . Lol Haha love it! A 20 year old kitchen white or not still looks like a 20 year old kitchen, might as well go with what you like if it's a house you're planning on staying in! Re: Show me your kitchen... 2758Aug 25, 2014 12:53 am I like it! I almost did that colour splash back but decided to keep lime as my feature Re: Show me your kitchen... 2759Aug 25, 2014 11:38 am A blue splashback! Oh it's beautiful melfordgurl. I'm also going bold and blue. Won't be long until I have pictures to share of my own Re: Show me your kitchen... 2760Aug 25, 2014 11:52 am Some recent photos of mine.
