A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy? Re: Show me your kitchen... 1742Nov 30, 2011 10:16 am Well done Sanjha!!!! Your kitchen splashback is awesome.... Re: Show me your kitchen... 1743Dec 01, 2011 8:11 pm Thanks Ajanta, we love the splashback too it actually turned out better than expected.... and luckily we found a good builder as well who brought everything together quite efficiently. A question that sometimes drives me hazy: am I or are the others crazy? Re: Show me your kitchen... 1744Dec 07, 2011 12:38 pm Thanks for the info. Just a couple of other questions. What size is that window ? Is it possible for you to post a couple of photos of your awning window from the outside - one open and one closed ? I'm mostly interested in what the mechanism looks like. Cheers, Stewie Re: Show me your kitchen... 1745Dec 07, 2011 1:15 pm We have recently moved into our new house, so thought Id share here too This is the display home (wild Orchid @ Aldinga, SA) http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN0872.jpg and this is ours http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN0554.jpg http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN0555.jpg http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN0556.jpg (we still need to fix the kicker under dishwasher) http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN0557.jpg (electrican still has to put in LED lights, then we are changing to saturn switch) http://i723.photobucket.com/albums/ww240/VLH19/house/DSCN0427.jpg Re: Show me your kitchen... 1747Dec 07, 2011 4:14 pm Wow that looks fantastic!!! Ours is 2pac it's called buff tone, I'm not sure if it's a colour from a paint brand, it may just be the joinery companys own mix. The glass splashback (Equisite Elura) is a really nice touch with the gloss white cabinets and silver bench tops. I will be getting a couple of overhead cupboards with a rangehood installed between them (which is sitting in my garage) and might even get some more cabinetry made up to go above and around my fridge for some extra shelving/storage space, and a hole for a microwave too would be nice. Got some friends in the industry who can sort all that out for me. Will have to wait for a little while though to let the fluctuations in financial outgoings settle down first Re: Show me your kitchen... 1760Dec 16, 2011 11:32 am Oooohhh very nice - love it all - you must be very happy with how it's turned out For info on our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=43093 Built the McLaren by Dechellis - slab down 22 Feb - handover 30 Aug 2011 - and gardens finished 9 Dec 2012!!
