I have a few more pics in my thread if you would like to see. I didn't put them here as the kitchen was only just installed so not exactly a nice finished look just yet. I will definately be back with fresh photos after handover. Re: Show me your kitchen... 1488Jul 10, 2011 9:01 am That's gorgeous! I like the detail on the cupboards! Here is a photo of the tiles. The camera struggles to capture the damask design because of the glare/reflection Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Here is the pendant light which is over the dining room table Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our floors are Colonial floating floors in Jarrah, we decided to lay something over the old pine floors because we demolished all of the internal walls to create the open space living. We would have had a patchy floor if we hadn't. The mat is bought by the roll at bunnings. It's been great to protect the floor and makes the place cleaner Hope I have answered all of the questions. Thanks for the lovely comments! And yes, people do go 'wow' when they come in LOL. We used to have a tiny galley kitchen and this new kitchen is where the old kitchen and my son's bedroom used to be! Seeing snaps of other kitchens being installed and then the final pics has been great.

Hope you don't mind Custom downslope build Build thread viewtopic.php?f=31&t=61873 Blog http://www.buildingroyalmanor.blogspot.com.au Re: Show me your kitchen... 1495Jul 11, 2011 9:52 pm Why thank you...I don't mind at all HA, I'm glad it brings you inspiration d@n, the splashback will be glass in Dulux Lexicon starfire, so it will match the cabinets which are Lexicon Half. We want the benchtops to contrast with the kitchen and keep things relatively neutral to hopefully last and not date to early... The floor boards get polished next week so I'll post an updated pic once they are done and the cooker and splashback are in, or maybe when we move in and the coffee machine/grinder/roasters are on the bench. Cheers Horaldo. Re: Show me your kitchen... 1496Jul 11, 2011 9:57 pm Wow, bloody gorgeous kitchen I'm envious Great colour choices Re: Show me your kitchen... 1497Jul 11, 2011 10:01 pm What an amazing kitchen horaldo. I'm not a huge fan of 'modern' but I really like yours. I love the window & tree placement. It will be lovely watching the tree changes through the window as the seasons change. And I really love the ambience of the room. It feels warm which is unusual for a modern kitchen I think. I like that you've mixed the modern with warmth. I suppose the lighting and the timber is what adds the warmth. Beautiful, bet you can't wait to get in there now.
