Re: Show me your kitchen... 2632Mar 17, 2014 7:40 am CountryHome Wow, some stunning kitchens all round! I'm so impressed! Benblinkau I'm intrigued to see how the splashback will turn out! And Rellie, your kitchen is nearly exactly what I want! I hope you don't mind, I've saved the images to show my colour consultant and I might put them in my build thread as inspiration pics! I'll remove them of course if you don't want me to. I'm only having laminex benches though (diamond gloss) and have been told I can't have the recessed sink with laminex? No probs at all As far as I understand undermount sinks are not available with Laminate. You can get overmount sinks without the drain board which can give a similar look. Re: Show me your kitchen... 2633Mar 17, 2014 7:44 am Thanks Rellie. I think practicing will end up winning out and I'll probably end up going with the drainage area anyway, but I'll look into it. Re: Show me your kitchen... 2637Mar 17, 2014 9:19 pm Hi guys! This is my first post after stumbling on this forum when googling stone bench tops I have spent quite a while trundling back through all of the posts and have loved looking at everyone's kitchen images, it's been great I thought I would ask for those of you who have renovated, is there anything that you would have done differently now that you are using your new kitchen? We built our house 8 years ago and spent quite a lot of money upgrading our kitchen and buying high end appliances only to be bitterly disappointed when the kitchen was installed that it just wasn't practical nor functional. The oven and fridge open onto each other so if our fridge is pushed slightly over to the left, we can't open the fridge door. If our walk in pantry door is open, no one can access the kitchen and when unpacking the dishwasher we can only do so with one person in the kitchen :/ Having already spent quite a lot of money on our existing kitchen which looks nice but isn't functional, we are now about to sign up for a new kitchen and at the moment it's totalling around the $33,000 mark and I desperately want to make this kitchen PERFECT! LOL So I'm curious, for those who are in their kitchens, is their anything you would change or do differently with the benefit of hindsight? Thanks so much Re: Show me your kitchen... 2638Mar 19, 2014 1:08 pm Hi all, We are in the process of picking our colours/fixtures, etc. Does anyone have sliding door for the Walk in Pantry? I'm deciding on a normal hinged door or sliding door with glass panel in the middle, or timber sliding door. Not sure which one to go for? If anyone has any pictures that would be great. Thank you Re: Show me your kitchen... 2639Mar 20, 2014 8:25 am Loving our new home, Upper Hunter NSW on 2.5 acres Show me your kitchen... 2640Mar 20, 2014 8:45 am anj85 Hi all, We are in the process of picking our colours/fixtures, etc. Does anyone have sliding door for the Walk in Pantry? Thank you We have glass cavity sliders these could of been stained or painted. They only have one coat of paint so far and need a bit of TLC lol. By next week should have some better pictures when the painting and kitchen tiling is finished Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Design by Greater Concept - modified version Evolution Court Build by Premiere Homes My build viewtopic.php?f=31&t=64854 Hi All, I just wanted to close this topic out with an update. So we ended up agreeing to a number with the insurance company, and after an extensive amount of hand… 8 51394 You have mandatory building inspections and privately engaged building inspections.
