Our builder used baumatic appliances which we never heard of. Very happy with it so far. I like those overheads with the bottle racks either side. Might steal that for inspiration for my overheads...when they eventually happen!!! I love the splash back tiles, the kitchen looks great Hey Tan, can I ask where you got your splashback tiles from and what is the name of them. They look perfect for our new kitchen and having lots of trouble trying to find a tile. Re: Show me your kitchen... 1844Feb 01, 2012 6:11 am I thought that was a stone top...very nice Looks good. I think I agree with you re leaving them open and doors out the way. We don't have doors ( which I'm glad about) cos in and out all the time and they take no kitchen space up so not in your way. We also have our plates, toaster, jug etc in the walk in, so I recon someone is in there every 3. 4 seconds...mmmmm, good food for thought, inward doors Re: Show me your kitchen... 1845Feb 01, 2012 10:26 am kiwi I thought that was a stone top...very nice Looks good. (Dad's as subtle as a train wreck) So now I make sure the pantry is closed whenever the doorbell rings But it is handy that they can be left open without the doors being in the way, glad we stuck to our guns as the cabinet makers really didn't want to do them Building our custom design "Dream Home" Follow my Build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=46820 Contract Signed - 28/04/11 Siteworks Commenced - 20/06/11 Re: Show me your kitchen... 1846Feb 01, 2012 10:36 am exactly...you just shut them if you hear a car. easy! and you can throw any dirty dishes in there too...... and dirty children. tell em you are playing hide and seek, and YOU will tell them when they can come out. Re: Show me your kitchen... 1848Feb 01, 2012 6:48 pm how do you think they got nutella on them in the first place............?? Show me your kitchen... 1849Feb 01, 2012 7:27 pm Can you put away the dirty husband as well? I cannot wait for my new kitchen in the new home, internal sliding door, can leave it open without big doors in the way, and like kiwi said, put all the dirty stuff and close the door Re: Show me your kitchen... 1852Feb 02, 2012 7:16 am Mmmmmm Nutella, that's something I haven't had in years, my kids have never had it either! I am a mean mum! Maybe I will buy some, at least I know if they get it on their faces I can just chuck em in the pantry They'll have to fight me for it first though, I remember eating it with a spoon straight out the jar when I was a kid!
