Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 09, 2009 11:51 am We are going for our colour selections soon, and we've pretty much picked all the colours that we want, apart from the glass splash back.
We are going for: c/s Snow benchtop white kitchen cupboards choc overhead cupboards Brown timber flooring But we have no idea on what colour for our glass splash back. We were thinking white, but it might be too plain. Then we though a very light shade of mocca/caramel, but we werent sure. What are some of your suggestions? Thanks. There are a squillion colours though why not have a look at these.

It was almost like reading our kitchen colours - only difference is that our overhead cupboards are white (Alabaster Satin in the pic) and lower cupboards are dark You're right about a nice subtle splashback - our choice is below Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ After 4 years - we're in! Re: Please help with splash back colour!! 4Feb 09, 2009 2:02 pm SuH, i didnt want to go for a bold splash back colour as i dont really have a colour theme to put throughout the house yet.
Stonecutter, we do have similar colours! I think I will probably go for a similar glass splash back as yours. It seems the safe option. We want the splash back in the metalic rather than starfire. I hope that the metalic colour comes out true. I would hate to pick a colour but when the splash back is installed, it looks nothing like the colour we picked! Then go with a metallic paint and make sure you get starfire glass so that the colour comes out true. After 4 years - we're in! Re: Please help with splash back colour!! 6Feb 09, 2009 2:05 pm Really? We were told by the colours girl that if we go for a metalic splash back, we dont need starfire. The only time we need star fire is if we wanted a light colour without the metalics!
Should we be opting for the metalic with starfire? Have a look at the metallic Java Dusk and Ferric Sheen. They are soft earth tones. I promise you will like them Re: Please help with splash back colour!! 8Feb 09, 2009 2:50 pm wonderland Really? Should we be opting for the metalic with starfire? Yes, still go the Starfire, it could change your colour completely if you don't. I am having a chocolate brown metallic on Starfire, and I was advised to do so to get the exact colour. Re: Please help with splash back colour!! 9Feb 09, 2009 4:14 pm Su those colours you mentioned are lovely!
Something to think about. Do you all think that going for an earthy tone would look alright? The boundary was less than 1… 0 15302 Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀 2 7157 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 3258 |
