Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Feb 01, 2009 8:12 pm Does anyone have a link to a site where you can plan your own kitchen?
Thanks, in advance Re: Kitchen Planner - Download 2Feb 01, 2009 8:23 pm I use myvirtualhome - http://mvh.com.au/portal/index.php
Dh and I have drawn up the plans for our new house and its fantastic, you can walk through the house and see how it will look. I've done my kitchen in many different ways to see what configeration I like. Re: Kitchen Planner - Download 3Feb 01, 2009 9:06 pm I just tried to get that virtual house, signed up and went to pay my $5.95 to download it, but when I click on the confirm payment it goes no where and nothing says it's been excepted.... HELP!!! If you choke a smurf... what colour do they turn? Re: Kitchen Planner - Download 5Feb 01, 2009 11:12 pm I have a very low opinion of MVH. You pay for it, it's absolutely stuffed full of ads, and it's a pig to use. I bought it but soon wiped it off my drive. Yuk!
I recommend this online tool which is totally free and fast: http://v3.planningwiz.com/ Otherwise you might try Google SketchUp - also free and again vastly superior to MVH. I also use Punch. That's an expensive store-bought app, but much better for structural plans than room layouts. Do the hard jobs first. Re: Kitchen Planner - Download 8Feb 02, 2009 9:05 am It sure looks like I have wasted my money
Very hard to us. Not at all user friendly and the ADDS are every where... Not at all happy with this product. Even website is difficult to navigate. If you choke a smurf... what colour do they turn? Re: Kitchen Planner - Download 9Feb 02, 2009 9:35 am Yep. My Virtual Home is crap. It's flawed in so many ways. Both PlanningWiz ( http://v3.planningwiz.com/ ) and Google SketchUp are free and far superior applications. Just delete MVH and put it down to experience. Or pretend that you spent the money on PlanningWiz!
That PlanningWiz program is really very powerful. Do the hard jobs first. The easy jobs will take care of themselves. - Dale Carnegie Re: Kitchen Planner - Download 10Feb 02, 2009 9:50 am I have found the Ikea one - it's pretty user friendly.

Blog: http://thereluctantbuilder.blogspot.com/ No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 6631 2 4672 that will depend on the kitchen bench depth. you'll have to specify it so it allows for both the tap and the sink 1 7392 |
