Would like to know if you install a wall oven next to a internal brick wall do you need to have an infill panel on the side that rests next to the brick wall? Also is there a website that has the rules and regulations that must be followed when designing a kitchen. Thanks Re: Wall Oven Question 2Jan 31, 2009 9:36 am There should really be some sort of board between your wall oven and the wall, simply because walls are often not square and an in fill will allow for any inconsitencies that might do something like stopping a door opening for example.
The AS/NZS 4386.1-1996 dictates the standards that must be followed for kitchen design and installation - these cover the dos and don't of appliance placement, water and power et cetera...but this document must be purchased from SAI Global and licensed owners are not allowed to distribute copies (this doesn't neccesarily mean that it doesn't happen though). Cheers, Earl Hi Chippy, no there isn't, gave it a really good look through and literally opened everything and checked all edges as well. Hence the question, just hoping someone would… 2 2083 My daughter and son in law are about to start building, they are having a 600mm induction cook top and 900mm oven.
