You're so right - I need to collect a few more samples of the different whites. I agree that the Alabaster has a warmer look to it, and that's exactly the sort of thing that I'm after. I have Hog Bristle (Dulux) throughout the house and Self-Destruct (which is in the same tone, but 2 shades darker) will be used for the splashback. I have chocolate accents throughout the house, so I think a warmer white is probably what I'm looking for, rather than a cold white. And since, the CS colour I'm getting (like yours) isn't a cold white either, I just think something a tincy bit warmer on the cabinets will do just the trick.
