Browse Forums Kitchen Corner 1 Jan 16, 2009 1:12 pm For the past couple of days I have had phone calls from the organiser person at the builder's office checking on all my kitchen details, they wanted to make sure when it was installed everything was just as I had said, SO, I rang my kitchen dude who had previously said I could have a look when it was half way through to check all was fine...WELL, you can imagine how NOT HAPPY I was when he told me they hadn't yet started said kitchen due to the fact they had not been paid for a previous job (my sick emoticon) I think the blood drained from my entire body and I felt totally empty Not his fault, you see this has not been unusual right throughout our build. Anyway, I made a suggestion to him that we tell builder to forget about the kitchen and we pay for it directly, his thoughts were along the same lines. So husband went and saw them, they denied it, then hubby rang KDude and we are now waiting on phone calls back.....the kitchen would have been half finished Why she was ringing me ticking off my choices I will never know, stupid ..bleep.. ! Should know by the end of the day what's what Re: Well! I don't know if I was expecting this... 2Jan 16, 2009 1:17 pm Oh SuH - yet once again your builder is playing silly B@ggers on you!!! I have driven past a couple of times this week and only just saw a truck out the front today - has your tiling started as per contract?
At least your kitchen builders are on the ball. Fingers crossed they sort it out quickly. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Well! I don't know if I was expecting this... 3Jan 16, 2009 1:17 pm Why am I not surprised!

Your poor tiler.
I tell ya your builder had better watch out - Newcastle is such a small place and if the news about late payments gets out he will be in a spot of bother. Michelle - hope you have a nicer evening / weekend. Some things are worth waiting for. Re: Well! Hubby told her our whole story without holding back on details. It's possible but a soak well is usually much larger. Your 'soak well' only holds 424 litres when full. What is your soil type?
