Can you tell me if it is possible to get a kitchen sink made of composite materials here in Australia, as compared to the typical steel type which most people would have? I had the blanco silgranit installed when i was still living in asia, and am wondering if i can have the same here Re: kitchen sinks 4Jan 13, 2009 9:27 am nietzche Hi Kev, Can you tell me if it is possible to get a kitchen sink made of composite materials here in Australia, as compared to the typical steel type which most people would have? I had the blanco silgranit installed when i was still living in asia, and am wondering if i can have the same here Hi nietzche.... Corian make composite sinks...I've never sold or installed one.... In the last 12 years have probally removed 100 or so composite sinks. This is usually only possible when benchtops are replaced Composite sinks are usually wider (front to back) than stainless steel ones, so it's difficult to find a s/steel sink to fit into the space a composite sinks leaves behind Davlyn solid surfaces in Lonsdale SA installs Corian benchtops, so I'm assuming they also fit Corian sinks There are several different types/brands of composite benchtop and sinks available, Corian is the only brand I have a sample book for, so I'm not sure what the other brand names are Best Price Wardrobes Sliding door robes | Walk in robes Deco panel | Mirror | Melamine 26 to 28 Cottage lane Hackham M: 0402 927 376 http://www.bestpricewardrobes.com.au Trade welcome Re: kitchen sinks 5Jan 13, 2009 3:03 pm Franke and Abey have granite composite sinks. These sinks have over 80% granite content in them so are more durable than the acrylic ones. Hi, We're building a double-storey in Perth and I'm undecided with the kitchen sink situation. I'm set on having the main sink with dishwasher in the scullery - and… 0 20938 No. It's not original. Circa early to mid 90s would be my guess and maybe even as late as early 2000s 1 6636 2 4687 |
